wanting your thoughts on a new feature for the blind flight

Hello.  Since soundcloud has become such a popular method for people to share their sounds, whether finished works, demos, field recordings  or sound experinents, I thought it would be a cool idea each week, if I can find enough material, to have a short feature on soundcloud, specifically feature an artist in a segment of the show.  This feature may not happen every week like if I have an artist profile or a specific themed show, though I'm sure if I found material related to that artist or theme, I could find a way to incorporate the feature.

Would you people who listen to the program either in real time or on the podcast be interested in such a feature?  Thanks for your input.

I like this idea a lot.  I get a lot of my new music fix via soundcloud and I publish there as well.  I probably get more new music that way than even by radio shows.

There is a ton of unique music on Soundcloud from known and unknown musicians. I experience a lot there, have influences and inspirations just the same as i share here on relaxed machinery.  It might be a good feature for your show that i sometimes tune in. Did i say you that i loved the Radio Massacre show lately. Im always open for new music and new ideas. I cant listen to music the whole day unfortunately, i deeply wanted that i could : )

soundcloud would be cool. I'm starting to really enjoy the random discoveries from soundcloud. I would be interested in helping, by say sending the cool things I find, if you need fuel for the fire.

It seems like such a simple idea, but it would actually give your show something unique, reflecting the new music communities. I would definately listen! By the way, I loved "High in the 70's." You had some great recordings I've never heard before!

Hello.  Thanks for all the comments about this idea and for listening to the programs when you guys are able to.  JaJa, I did get the note that you liked the RMI show so thanks for checking out that broadcast. noah, i'd be interested in getting links to anything you find of interest from soundcloud and Paul, thanks for listening to the highs in the 70's program.  I'm happy I was able to play some material you hadn't heard before.  That feature will probably start after this week's show.  A friend wanted to hear a feature on Steve Brand so I think I'll do that one this week and there should be a blog post about it later in the next day or so.
