Sad News
I just read on the Hypnos forum that Barry Craig also known as A Produce has passed away at the age of 59. He was a great ambient artist and from what I've read from people who knew him, a great human being. He will be missed.

I'm so sorry, this truly makes me very sad. I've never met Barry in person but we exchanged music, ideas, and our passion for the genre. From the beginning he was kind, friendly, almost as if we had known forever, and enjoyed my music and me with him. I recently received two copies of "Intangible", one for me and one for Bruno. What a great guy and what a good musician.

This is absolutely terrible and unexpected news, Barry will be deeply missed by his family, friends and our ambient community. We are losing talented and unique artist. I never met Barry personally, but I will always remember our pen-pal friendship and his music will always live in my heart!!! I own A Produce's complete discography, with some of them featuring Barry's personalized signature and all these CDs will be deeply treasured for me. Goodbye, Barry!!! My condolences to his family and friends.

Here's a link to the very lengthy thread about Barry over on Hypnos - he released some albums with Hypnos and he and M Griffin collaborated on a release. Well worth stopping over.
