Lucette Bourdin February 25, 1954 - February 17, 2011
After a long transformational and creative journey with breast cancer Lucette made her transition into the Light at 10:40 p.m. on February 17th 2011. She will be remembered for her kindness, her art and her music. Her music was especially the product of her transformation through cancer. When diagnosed she said of her desire to create music, "if not now, when?".

She will be missed by all that knew her, her art, or her music.

Wow, that is really sad news. I only discovered her music about a year ago. I now have probably 10 of her releases and enjoy them very much. I actually downloaded two from Earth Mantra just last weekend. Happy Travels, Lucette. You will be missed.

She was a gifted artist. I did not know her, and only know a few of her pieces, but I knew she was on the "right side" of this musical universe.

Extremely sad and terrible news, unfortunately the life can be so fragile... We will miss Lucette very much! My sympathy and condolences to the family and friends.

I am extremely shocked and saddened to hear Lucette has passed on to the next world. Such a talented artist and musician will be sorely missed not just by myself but by all who have been touched by her great talent...Kind words were shared which I will treasure...forever!

Lucette was one of those remarkable people whose ability to see the truth about life and whose grace was nothing short of inspirational. I'll miss you Lucette Bourdin, and I was the better for knowing you.

Beautifully written words above. I didn't know Lucette, but I'm extremely touched by her example of how our lives can be informed and transformed—even in the midst of apparent tragedy—and how we can share that with others. A beautiful image that I'll hold in my heart.
