I ever wanted to capture the special feeling of the twilight hour when blue gets dark. I can't explain how special this half of an hour is, so i took my microphone and recorded the city's atmosphere outside the balcony while watching the change of the colour. Then i took a photo and right after this i recorded some on my Roland JD 800.…

Saturday was a damp day and now suffering with Tinnitus which is playing havoc with my concentration I decided to put a podcast together. One hour of uninterrupted ambient music was just what I needed.
One hour of ambient will be posted on the first Sunday of every month.
Any feedback will be much appreciated :)

"Chris Russell turns toward the dark side and gets sonically spare on his deep new release, Portal. This is another release I’d put more in the grey ambient category rather than flat-out dark. It’s got its fair share of it, doled out in groaning bass pads and tortured electronics, but Russell also infuses it with a lot of breadth, a lot of openness that sets it apart from its more cloying cousin, isolationist ambient. It feels like exploring dark physical spaces as opposed to grim…

I don't know how many videogamers we have here, but I recently did a melodic, spacey-sounding track for SNESology using samples from the Super Nintendo games Chrono Trigger and Secret of Mana and I wanted to share it.
Enjoy!

Into this dark and no time space, all entities that live there were born ageless and amaranthine, from emptiness them have been given all dark matter and energy, all intuition and will, all invisibility and form, all empty and filled shades of black. And while they live happily there, if ever they want to glister in the endless star fields, they transcend.…

The heart of that land of hope and fear was formed to a multidimensional labyrinthine galaxy of no light, with giant corridors shaping in different forms with every step you take, followed by intuition of those who live there in the dark sea's bottom ground, unseen from the blackness around but always there, in Acadia.…

Far beyond the unmeasurable endless fields of stars, in the depths of the vast ocean of the dark where no light beam ever reached the bottom ground, and darkness was filled with all invisible forms of black, there lay the land of Relativity.…
