On tomorrow night's show (1/21) - time for a live solo ambient guitar set! This time I'll be trying to channel a vintage Tangerine Dream style vibe and attempt to whip up some Berlin School soundscaping using only my Strat (that's right: a guitar with only…Continue

I have posted a new live ambient demo video for anyone who might be interested.
This was done in one take against a Reason 5 track live and mic'd with MXL 440 and 441 condenser mics on the guitar amp and monitor speakers into a digital 8-track recorder. The Reason track was then mixed back into the audio mixdown in stereo and the audio track synced to the…Continue

My first Downtempo release as DeepWarmth came out on Friday and is something I've been working on at various times for 4 long years. A couple of ambient tracks compliment the other 8 tunes and it ends with a special remix from Coppice Halifax. This is inspired by a lot of the chillout and downtempo artists from the Japanese Electronic Music scene I found over the course of the 4 years.…Continue

Don't normally have much in the way of pictures to show and I think this is my first time sharing anything that deals with pictures. I finally got around to uploading a bunch of pictures I took for my label's VA release Light Clouds that came out earlier this year. One of them got heavily edited for use as artwork for another release on Cold Fiction Music as well. If anyone is interested please check them out. Link and preview player for the release these were taken for also is…Continue

Hoping to push this blog to the front page again...from April of 2013...make sure to read the comments/discussion, as well. From my point of view, we in contemporary Western Society (especially us more rebellious types) undervalue and underestimate the…Continue

Our 58th release in the series comes from The Downgrade Complex who started off our 2014 edition of Futur[e]cho. He brings a wall of noise filled melodies and thumping kicks to the album before giving way to several remixers who give their own takes on several of his tracks. There is melody in this, but this is very much on the noise side of things till it gets to the remixes which give their own take with Ambient Techno, glitchy Ambient and Industrial Techno. Very much not what you'd expect…Continue

I finally have something to share after 4 years of hard work on my followup to the first album I ever started work on, A Chance of Weather. This is the first IDM and Ambient release by DeepWarmth. Taking about 4 years to complete, and is inspired by Rei Harakami who sadly passed away during the making of this album. This becomes an album in memory of such a great Japanese Electronic Music artist as much as an album that reflects the various stages of life during the making of the album.…Continue
