Hoping to push this blog to the front page again...from April of 2013...make sure to read the comments/discussion, as well. From my point of view, we in contemporary Western Society (especially us more rebellious types) undervalue and underestimate the…Continue
Another track from my album Nature was used by Katharine Hawthorne in a dance performance called Pulse that was created for and done by a select group from Springboard Danse Montréal during the summer. A short 6 and a half minutes this is.
Also happening in San Fransisco is Clockwork also by Katharine Hawthorne on November 20th-22nd. It will feature Pulse and a…Continue

Our 58th release in the series comes from The Downgrade Complex who started off our 2014 edition of Futur[e]cho. He brings a wall of noise filled melodies and thumping kicks to the album before giving way to several remixers who give their own takes on several of his tracks. There is melody in this, but this is very much on the noise side of things till it gets to the remixes which give their own take with Ambient Techno, glitchy Ambient and Industrial Techno. Very much not what you'd expect…Continue

I finally have something to share after 4 years of hard work on my followup to the first album I ever started work on, A Chance of Weather. This is the first IDM and Ambient release by DeepWarmth. Taking about 4 years to complete, and is inspired by Rei Harakami who sadly passed away during the making of this album. This becomes an album in memory of such a great Japanese Electronic Music artist as much as an album that reflects the various stages of life during the making of the album.…Continue
Got the mid-week blues or stressed out. Take a 21 minute break and zone out to some abstract drones.

Around the time we were about to release the 2014 Ascendant album "Source Transmission" I began researching ways I could create cover art for it. A member on Ambient Online suggested I check out "JWildfire" an open source fractal software running in a…Continue
Have seen today that when checking out stuff on twitter, that my label was mentioned in a tweet. Usually I think nothing much of these because they are just, hey your label released something, now we will post it on our site because it needs it. But today was different. Techno-locator.ru is a site I like to browse looking for other Techno releases on other netlabels and usually find good stuff. But turns out in a tweet they have put up, that Futur[e]cho 2014 is the most downloaded/visited…Continue

I am an e-buddy of the artists I am about to introduce to you so I could, perhaps, be a bit biased in my opinion that follows.
For the first time under his own name Duff Egan has recently released two new Ambient Dark Dronescapes via his Bandcamp page.
When Duff is not sculpting evil monster voices for the next generation of video games, he attaches himself to his audio electronics at home and sculpts audio of a completely different…Continue
So I made a post a while back that shared my Chill Waves show. I stopped doing it for a little while, and as of this week I've finally been able to sit down and make a new show. This week's show is more on the Ambient Techno/Chill Techno side, but does include some Chill IDM as well. As always there is a smashing selection of Ambient to end.
1. Textural Being - Safe Places
2. Zander One - Blossom
3. Izzat Man - The Morning
4. Yagya - Sleepygirl 8…

Mister Vapor posted a nice, plum drone in late summer of 2014 called "Jupiter". Scott Lawlor picked that sound up and created 3 pieces, each based on a moon of Jupiter. Scott and Vapor asked EugeneKha to add some elements to the…Continue

Put out a new release on my label's EX series today. A fantastic release of Chillout Electronic music to wind the day down with. Including swirling synths, pads, rhodes, laid back basslines and jungle loops slowed down to create a unique sound that is Beneath The World. At this time we only have a single to share of his music, but boy is it good stuff.…Continue
