Tomorrow's Man commented on jkn's blog post rM.community question - what's your tool of choice?
"Let's see..... Music:  My new Stagg EDB34 4-String Upright Electric Bass; I feel a need to bow before it before each time I touch it.... Writing:  A new college-lined notebook, a few good black-ink pens that don't…"

Posted on August 16, 2011 at 1:29pm 0 Comments

Bobby Jones, the genius behind the new I've Lost release, Scáth M’anam, has crafted a classic.  Let's jump right in and find out why, shall we?

Canadian Post: Strike Impact

Posted on June 22, 2011 at 6:39pm 0 Comments

Not sure if this has been posted yet, but a reminder to everyone that the postal strike in Canada is ongoing, and unfortunately having some significant effects on folks in our wide circle; rik at pingthings.com -- distributor of the "Luminations" DVD (originally noted here by jkn) -- is stuck without recourse for any orders that went out Canadian post before the hammer fell.  Mercy and patience (and… Continue

TechAid: Novation ReMOTE 25LE

Posted on June 10, 2011 at 6:33pm 0 Comments

Here's a new wrinkle for our diverse and savvy community:

The ROM on my Novation ReMOTE 25LE keyboard is hosed.  Novation support -- from whom I got the firmware update, but has plainly said "oops" to the update hosing my ROM -- can only tell me, "Uhm, find someone who will fix it?"

I've loved this l'il keyboard a long time, and I'm curious if anyone has a thought or idea for me to try.  Otherwise, is anyone looking for an otherwise perfect controller keyboard, except…

I like your Savannah photos. Savannah is a great city, it is hard to explain to others. My wife and I go there every year. Usually in the spring or fall (I get plenty of heat here in San Antonio, TX., so I avoid the summer.) My brother and his family live there on Tallelah Island which is the last island before Tybee. If you look at my photos, you'll see his dock which appears to go on forever across the marsh. Anyway, interesting reading list.
