There are still tracks to be played with on Creation By Inertia. I'd love to hear what you can do with it. Here's a track by William Spivey. There are also others that I'm going to keep secret until it's released. ;)http://www.mixcloud.com/cmalvarado/christopher-alvarado-whirlpool-realwilliam-spivey-mix/The full album here-…See More

My darkest work yet!! Here is a guide through abandoned mental institutions where the insane were used as test subjects. Inspired by Jeff Duke, he takes the plunge off the deep end with Twilight Transmissions into the word of forgotten realms of madness. Images supplied by M.Nomized from his series Murder of a Doll. The cover design and mastering by K.J. Cazier of Void of Realms. Thank you Steven for publishing under Kalpamantra!…See More

Infinita

So, here's my FIRST full ambient album! No beats in this one. Earth Mantra (Geoff Small) was kind enough to publish this work and I am very grateful. Cover and interior artwork by Kati Astraeir and all of her awesome skills I am proud to have as the sleeve. Anyway ,I hope you all enjoy it and wish it to bring serenity to you! Profile Information

Tell us about yourself!
With a diverse musical background spanning more than two decades, Chris Alvarado continues to create music that pushes new sounds and captures audiences located near his Salt Lake City-based studio to listeners around the world. Alvarado’s career began in 1985 when his musical passion was ignited by the SLC punk scene. He started playing bass guitar, joining his first band, Harsh Reality (S.L.C.), a band that started new trends towards the mid 80’s. Today, Alvarado plays classical/electric guitar, bass, drums, percussion and keyboards, creating music that crosses over many genres, including ambient, acoustic, noise and atmosphere. More recently, Alvarado’s projects capture new sounds of electro-acoustics and computer-generated noise. Though involved in a multitude of projects over the years, Alvarado’s most popular projects include 23 Extacy, synthetically generated aggressive and dark hardcore industrial music; Roses & Exile, featuring guest vocalists with lyrics written by Alvarado; and Twilight Transmissions, purely instrumental music with ambient noise manipulation. Each project has its own sound, but also exudes Alvarado’s unique musical personality. With years of experience working with more than 150 artists, releasing 16 disks,6 compilations and guest artist on 6 others. Bands include Harsh Reality (S.L.C.), B.F.D., Shiv, Beat Iron Blue, Genocidal Existence and Void, to name a few. Alvarado continues to explore new musical frontiers, breaking traditional music models and paving the way for the next generation of musicians.Releases through Aural Films and Roach Clip Records and distribution through Shinto Records.
